Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at enquiries@heritagebrickworkandrepointing.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Heritage Brickwork and Repointing is a building restoration company that specializes in restoring and preserving historic and architectural buildings.

Heritage Brickwork and Repointing offers a wide range of building restoration services, including masonry restoration, facade cleaning, waterproofing, and historical preservation.

Heritage Brickwork and Repointing has a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about preserving historic and architectural buildings. We use the latest techniques and equipment to ensure that your building is restored to its former glory.

For heritage buildings, we strongly recommend and primarily use lime mortar, as it's breathable and flexible — ideal for older structures. We can use cement mortar where appropriate, such as on newer additions or non-heritage elements of a building, or new builds and modern extensions.

We specialise in period, historic, and listed buildings, including Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and older properties. Our focus is on maintaining the architectural integrity of these buildings using traditional methods and materials.
We also offer services using modern building techniques, modern extensions aren't off the table, no job is too big or too small!
